Arrival / Departure

If the house is unoccupied on your arrival day, you may move in immediately.
However, if other guests are checking out the same day you are arriving, the house will need to be cleaned in between. Our cleaning lady takes care of this with the necessary thoroughness, as we want the house to be spotless and tidy when you move in. For this reason, the general rule is that the houses can be occupied from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the house must be vacated by 10:00 a.m.

If you arrive earlier than 4:00 p.m., you are always welcome to leave your luggage in the house and discuss with the property manager when you can move in. In the meantime, you can easily pass the time by doing your first grocery shopping, exploring our beautiful island, or visiting a nearby restaurant.

Whether there will be a change of guests on your arrival day cannot be confirmed in advance, as other guests may still book after you—guests who arrive before you or depart before you. This applies only in cases of a same-day check-in/check-out, known as a “back-to-back” turnover. Most of the time, however, the houses are vacant and can be occupied right away.

Payment

Your reservation becomes binding only after a deposit of 20% has been received. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. The cancellation fees are as follows:

From 1 month before the start of the trip: 50% of the rental price
Up to 3 weeks before the start of the trip: 70% of the rental price
Up to 2 weeks before the start of the trip: 80% of the rental price
From 2 weeks before the start of the trip: 100% of the rental price

The tenant is entitled to provide substitute guests for the rental period. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Final Cleaning Fee

A final cleaning fee equivalent to one day’s rent will be charged.

Parking

Each holiday home has its own parking space directly in front of the entrance.
